ShadowBrooke Golf Course is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Lester Prairie, Minnesota, just a short drive west of the Twin Cities metro area on Hwy 7.
ShadowBrooke Golf Course opened in 1993. The course was designed by Joel Goldstrand.
This scenic course is wooded. However, the fairways afford generous landing areas, and the well-manicured greens are medium speed. Water hazards come into play on at least eight holes, and numerous sand bunkers have been incorporated into the course design. At Shadowbrooke you can also relax and enjoy the atmosphere of their turn of the century farm house/club house.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6349 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4906 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 1, a par-5 that plays to 570 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 164 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 560 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at ShadowBrooke Golf Course is # 11, a 394 yard par-4.

This is a well-thought out relatively new course. I have played it every year for the past 10 years; they keep improving it. There are 3 drawbacks (used to be agriculture land): driving range is fairly limited with stations, clubhouse is small with no kitchen, carts are stored outside & are older. The course plays well/competitive, with water on many holes.
